Ronnie Screwvala presents his life leanings, his failures more than his successes, in a world so grueling, in a manner that will leave you nothing but motivated and inspired. While every author tells us the ideas to succeed and their success stories, Ronnie has moved out of that cult, told his stories proclaiming that failures can be stronger motivators and presented a book worth a hundred classroom sessions.

Defining his ambitious nature ever since he was young and full of vigor, starting his career with Lazer Toothbrush manufacturing to pioneering cable TV in India to bringing the concept of daily afternoon soap being viewed five days a week (Shanti , starring Mandira Bedi) to heart touching movies like RANG DE BASANTI, SWADES, JODHA AKBAR, DEV D , NO ONE KILLED JESSICA amongst many others and later on trying to bring in gaming consoles and various TV channels from News channels to Kids entertainment and collaborations with Bloomberg and Disney, and moving from the most glamorous film and media channel to the just not-so-glamorous SWADES FOUNDATION and not to forget his stepping into his Second Innings and circulating his immense entrepreneurial knowledge through this book,  Ronnie has spared no stone unturned with his “IT CAN BE DONE” attitude…  and left us spell-bound.

Besides his spectacular achievements, what’s even more interesting to learn is his point of setbacks from getting polite red signals from Yash Raj Studios and Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited for collaborations to the heart flinching behind the scene moments to release Rang De Basanti and many other such events and how he overcame all of them is worth reading.  He perfectly describes how to handle successes and overcome failures setbacks!

The book is an easy read and covers every point needed to know when you’re planning to step into entrepreneurship or already been into the entrepreneurial bandwagon for multiple years. It’s a perfect read even if you are not ones amongst both of them because the details mentioned… the behind the scene actions will give you an insight into the media world which you wouldn’t have even imagined before.

Ronnie Screwvala shares his journey, his passion, his ideas of staying real, practical, feet-on-the-ground, focused, winning your dreams and further dreaming of a better future. There is a lot to learn and lot to know. Further, there are letters written to Ronnie by Siddharth Roy Kapoor (the now managing director of Disney, India), and many others which are highlights of this book. Also, every chapter is summarized in bullet points in the end which gives a review of the whole chapter in short and the FAQ’s mentioned in the end of the book will solve every question you’d want to ask.

Candid, to-the-point, right details and perfect explanation, this book will suffice your wandering business soul. (Though we’d love to know more on how Ronnie moves ahead in his second innings)

We’d recommend you to grab this book and read because it has stories that will leave you thinking about it days altogether and further leave you inspired to work harder, actively seek opportunities , communicate and build a real social circle and never think you’d look stupid if you ask questions ‘coz that’s how you’ll learn.

Just be convinced, be confident and go for it, says Ronnie for your dreams. And we’ll say the same for this book.
